“noiseworks” to be released in april, its official
this is the cover of the new faux pas record, featuring the work of staggeringly talented NY artist tomokazu matsuyama:
the record, as mentioned previously, is called NOISEWORKS and features the following songs:
1. Noiseworks
2. Chasing Waterfalls
3. Guillotine
4. Vanderbilt
5. Silver Line
6. Pretend Tough
7. Minimums
8. Megasports ???
9. Heroic Jam
10. Dawson Mode
for those that follow these things, the record will be a joint release between Sensory Projects/Inertia and in april 2010. that’s quite s o o n.
there’s so much i can’t wait to tell you about but for now, refresh your memory by checking out these two previously released singles. both of these songs appear on the album in extended forms. the album version of “silver line” is almost twice as long as the one that is currently getting played on the radio. epic emotion. free downlow.

Urinating with excitement. Vancouver Olymp–what? Canada has a new priority. Can’t wait for this.
Awesome.
Definitely worthy of peeing one’s pants.
can everyone please stop urinating and/or vomiting?
What about an orgasm. Is that allowed?
You should replace the NOISEWORKS liner notes with complimentary tissue.
Sweet cover with hopefully sweeter tunes. Is the reference to the 80s band intentional?
everything is intentional AND unintentional.
i can confirm the sweetness of the tunes, as i have had the sweetness rating independently verified. this record has a sweetness rating of 71D.
yeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
what kind of genre of music is this? i love it but i struggle to find this kind of… techno jazz fusion style of music… anyone lend a hand?
Hey Tim,
I couldn’t find an e-mail address or anything to directly contact you through, so hopefully you get this. Basically, if all goes to plan, I intend to put together a free playlist for download on my music blog, featuring Aussie bands and musicians.
I was wondering if there were any tracks of yours that I’d be able to use.
If not, that’s cool, I just thought I’d ask. If you’re interested could you reply to this through e-mail?
Cheers.
Pitchfork has set up a working group to answer that very question, Thomas. Expect something along the lines of ’42′. In 6.7 years.
Absolutely amazing, any word on a 12″ release, ive been looking to get into vinyls, and this seems to be an amazing album to start with hopefully.
Tell us more about the album artwork… I think it’s spectacular! How did you get in touch with Tomokazu Matsuyama? How does it connect to the album?
word.
Could you please get a FLAC download of this available? I want to buy it digitally, but the iTunes store quality is just rubbish. Cheers!
