Caribou – Odessa (David Wrench’s Drumapella)
david wrench is an engineer and mixer who worked on caribou’s swim record – above is his drum-only version of the smash hit caribou smash hit “odessa.” david has an album out now, which i’m very curious about. you can listen/buy to that here. i’m not sure how you “Buy to” something. he has . just learn to trust me. we can rebuild our relationship, can’t we?
and now to . melbourne’s finest simple minds cover band. they are amazing. here are two alternate mixes that you can only find on itunes as far as i’m aware – one is an 80s acid-pop edit style “elastic martini” remix that originated from one of the wizard’s inside the band; and the other is by tropical bass and cumbia boffin , who is a ledgend.
